GEN 4.1 AERODROME/HELIPORT CHARGES
1 Landing of aircraft
The charges set out hereunder are common for all international aerodromes in the State of Qatar. Charges for services and facilities not mentioned (e.g. for the carriage of baggage between aircraft and terminal building) may vary from aerodrome to aerodrome and information concerning such charges may be obtained at the aerodromes.
Unless alternative arrangements have been made, all charges for the use of the aerodrome are payable by the pilot of the aircraft on demand or before the aircraft departs from the aerodrome.
1.1 Landing charges
Landing charges are calculated based upon the Maximum Take-off Weight (MTOW) of the aircraft, authorized by the State of Registration in its certificate of airworthiness. In the event of the absence of the certificate of airworthiness, the landing charges will be based upon the MTOW of the aircraft manufacturer or as deemed appropriate by the QCAA (for Doha International Airport) or the Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management (for Hamad International Airport).

2 Parking, hangarage and long-term storage of aircraft
2.1 Parking of aircraft
The parking charge will be ten percent (10%) of the landing charge.
Parking charges will begin to accrue two (2) hours after the aircraft has landed and will be charged for each twenty four (24) hours or part thereof.

3 Passenger service
3.1 PASSENGER CHARGES (Hamad International Airport)
3.1.1 AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT FEES (ADF): Departing passenger – QR 40 per passenger.
3.1.2 PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE (PFC): All departing and transfer passengers (up to and including 24
HR) – QR 35 per passenger.
4 Security

5 Passenger loading bridge (PLB) charges (HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)
5.1 The charges are calculated based on the duration of aircraft parking on PLB Stand; as under

6 BRIDGE MOUNTED EQUIPMENT (GROUND POWER UNIT & AIR CONDITION UNIT) CHARGES (HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)
6.1 The charges are calculated based on the duration of aircraft parking on PLB Stand, irrespective of use; as under

6.5 No charge will be applicable, if the aforementioned equipment is not available/functional due to maintenance or malfunction.
7 FIXED ELECTRICAL GROUND POWER (FEGP) CHARGES (HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)
7.1 The charges are calculated based on the duration of aircraft parking on Remote Stand equipped with FEGP, irrespective of use as under;

7.5 No charge will be applicable, if the aforementioned equipment is not available/functional due to maintenance or malfunction.

10 Exemptions and reductions
10.1 Exemptions
10.1.1 The following aircraft will be exempt from landing and parking charges:
- State aircraft.
- Aircraft of United Nations (UN) body and its specialized agencies.
- All military aircraft of GCC States.
- Aircraft engaged on search and rescue operations.
- Bona fide test flights or calibration flights, approved by QCAA / Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management.
10.1.2 The following categories of passengers are exempted from Airport Development Fees:
- Infants.
- Transit / transfer.
- Airline crew on duty.
10.1.3 The following categories of passengers are exempted from Passenger Facility Charges:
- Infants under 2 years without a seat.
- Transit – same aircraft through transit.
- Airline crew on duty.
- Involuntary rerouting due to technical difficulties, weather conditions or other valid reasons.
10.2 Reductions
Fifty percent (50%) reduction to standard charges will be granted for aircraft taking off from Hamad International or Doha International airports and returning due technical reasons or weather conditions.
11 Methods of payment
11.1 Payment of landing and parking charges
11.1.1 Payment of landing charges and parking charges will be accepted in Qatari Riyals (QR), Omani Rials (OMR), Kuwaiti Dinars (KWD), Sterling Pound (GBP), US Dollars or EURO.
11.1.2 Payment of landing and parking charges should be made with following authorities as listed below;
- QCAA for Doha International Airport.
- Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management for Hamad International Airport.
11.1.3 For Doha International Airport, payment should be made to
ATC Tower prior to departure, if the operator does not require a handling agent.
11.1.4 For Hamad International Airport, payment should be made to:
- Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management for scheduled flights in Hamad International Airport.
- Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management for non-scheduled (Ad-hoc) flights in Hamad International Airport. The charges will be collected by Qatar Aviation Services (QAS).
11.2 PAYMENT OF AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT FEE AND PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGES
11.2.1 In case of scheduled flights, above charges shall be payable to Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management.
11.2.2 In case of non-scheduled (Ad-hoc) flights, above charges are collected by Qatar Aviation Services (
QAS).
